The Nollywood/Kannywood actor said pirates have feasted on their movies even before they leave movie locations where they have gone to shoot them. He said at the event held at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos that: “It seems like a dream come true to those of us in the North because sometimes before we are done producing some individuals have already started selling, but with a platform like this where we can monitor our works from the minute we upload till when we are ready to cash out I believe this is here to stay.”

Top Nigerian Film/Television Screenwriter/ Producer/ Director Tade Ogidan on his part said that in the name of getting value for their intellectual contents, Nigerian entertainers have been duped so jumping onto a new platform needs being thought over. He said: “We have seen all sorts so I tend to be very slow in joining forces; but with better understanding of the processes and objectives of Lodios, it gradually began to make sense. The success of this platform therefore lies with all of us. It is our own and it is our responsibility to promote it.”

Already on lodios.com platform are Seyi Shay’s latest single Yolo Yolo, Jaywon’s latest single and Sunny Nneji, among others. Nollywood movies (English and Yoruba genres), as well various comedy skits, like the Ushbebe collections, are on the platform for entertainment lovers.
