Here’s the truth about Gifty’s marital status

If there is anything Gifty Powers from the Big Brother Naija House is known for, it is the fact that she has been called out by many people for lying about her marriage status.

The model and actress even revealed exclusively to us at Entertainment.legit.ng that she isn’t married and that the guy who is claiming to be her husband is just a colleague and their ‘wedding’ photo that is on the internet are just scenes from a movie.

This came after her husband’s cousin released photos showing Gifty and her husband posing on their wedding day. In fact, former governor of Ebonyi state Sam Egwu was present at their wedding. In a surprising turn of events, Gifty revealed to Hip TV that indeed she was once married.

"Yes, I was once married It's a dark part of my life that I don't wanna ever go back. I was 19 when I got married and the marriage wasn’t legal." She even went on to advice young girls about making sure they are ready physically and mentally before they head into marriage.
