Nollywood actress Ego Boyo has been announced as the 60th president of the International Women’s Society (IWS).

Boyo was invested as the 60th president of the organization on Wednesday, March 14, 2017.

The event showcased women doing extraordinary work and changing lives with a photography series. It also served as a call to arms to young women to embrace charitable service whilst pursuing their careers.

IWS is an independent, non-political, non-governmental and non-profit organization which was founded in 1957.

Meanwhile, Mercy Johnson has been announced as a special adviser to Kogi state governor on Tuesday, March 14. Johnson was named as an adviser on entertainment arts and culture.
