Kemi Olunloyo finally released on bail

- Self acclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has been granted bail in the sum of N1 million

- Olunloyo was allegedly arrested on March 5 from her Ibadan home over a post on a Port Harcourt based pastor David Ibiyeomie by the police

- She goes back to prison on March 30 on the order of a Federal High Court after being granted bail by a Magistrate Court both based in Port Harcourt

Embattled US trained investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has finally been released on bail.

Olunloyo was granted bail in the sum of one million naira by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, April 11.

Olunloyo was arrested on March 5 from her Ibadan home by the police for a story she allegedly posted about Port Harcour-based Pastor David Ibiyeomie and actress Iyabo Ojo.

NAIJ.com in an earlier report wrote that the journalist and former governor's daughter was initially granted bail by a Magistrate Court also in Port Harcourt in the sum of N200, 000 on Thursday, March 30 only to be taken back to jail on the order of a Federal High Court.

It was alleged that she was sent back to prison based on a petition written by Iyabo Ojo.
