Embattled US trained investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has finally been released on bail.
Olunloyo was granted bail in the sum of one million naira by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, April 11.
Olunloyo was arrested on March 5 from her Ibadan home by the police for a story she allegedly posted about Port Harcour-based Pastor David Ibiyeomie and actress Iyabo Ojo.
NAIJ.com in an earlier report wrote that the journalist and former governor's daughter was initially granted bail by a Magistrate Court also in Port Harcourt in the sum of N200, 000 on Thursday, March 30 only to be taken back to jail on the order of a Federal High Court.
It was alleged that she was sent back to prison based on a petition written by Iyabo Ojo.
