- The young singer who was arrested following a 9-count charge of credit card fraud had his first court hearing on Monday, June 5
- His family members were absent as he presented his bail hearing
The month of June is proving not to be the month of singer Dammy Krane who remains imprisoned after the first court hearing. Reportedly, his family and friends were absent as he battles his release in the US.
Dammy who was previously signed on to 2Baba's Hypertek record label has been leaving lavida loca on other people's expense. Unfortunately the curtains were closed on his survival means when he booked a VIP private jet experience and got caught using illegal means to pay for the ride.
NAIJ.com earlier reported how Dammy landed himself in jail over credit card fraud.
Although Dammy's family released a statement and his aunty spoke in his defense, none of them was present at his first bail hearing. Dammy appeared for his first hearing on Monday, June 5 alongside his accomplice, Chukwuebuka. While Krane pleaded not guilty, he remains locked up following more charges which are said to be issued by the United States.
His accomplice, Chukwuemeka filed papers claiming to be an indigent. With no evidence to prove his claim, he was sent back to prison till the second hearing set for June 22.
Recall that Dammy was first arrested in Miami, Florida following a credit card scam that landed him a 9-count charge of grand theft.
