I fainted when I heard about Moji Olaiya’s death – Foluke Daramola reveals (video)

On Tuesday, June 6, late Nollywood actresses, actors and other entertainers gathered to pay their last respects to late Moji Olaiya who died on Thursday, May 18, in Canada just after she gave birth to her second daughter.

Words cannot describe the sad atmosphere at the Service Of Songs of the actress as both family members and colleagues were all in tears as they honor their colleague.

Speaking with NAIJ.com actress Foluke Daramola-Salako tried to hide her tears as she recounts her last moment with late Moji Olaiya.

She disclosed that: “I would miss Moji Olaiya a lot because she was like a sister to me. When I heard about her death, I fainted and was unconscious for some time. I woke up and had to ask again if it was true but no one could answer me. It came as a shock to me.”

Another colleague Mercy Aigbe also revealed that late Moji Olaiya was a very nice person and an embodiment of humility. She added that her death as a shock to me and I’m still trying to believe it this is true.

Speaking on his last moments with late Moji Olaiya, veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello disclosed that: “My last meeting with her was three years ago. She spoke with me when she was in Saudi Arabia where she bought me a Jalabia.”
