9ice denies promoting fraudsters in his song Living Things

- However, 9ice has come out to deny that he glorifies yahoo boys

- He also stated what his song is really about

NAIJ had earlier reported that popular musician Falz had come out to criticize musicians who promote fraudsters in their songs. He further advised them to stop because such things have the propensity to “destroy our future.”

Many took Falz’s comment to be directed at veteran musician 9ice whose latest single Living Things seems to hail alleged yahoo boys.

9ice has responded to those claims saying his song doesn’t promote fraud or fraudsters. He said Living Things is just about someone who is hoping to make a good life for himself.

“It's not about promoting fraud so to speak, it’s about someone who wakes up in the morning and needs to go and earn a living. It's not negative, it's positive, you just have to be in that realm to understand what the song is all about,” the singer explained to Hip TV.
