Popular Nigerian music star Duncan Mighty has taken to social media to call out Instagram blogger, Instablog9a for reporting fake news with confirmation from him.
It was earlier reported that Duncan Mighty’s alleged sister was caught stealing at a mall in Port Harcourt. The woman who was identified as Emmanuel Chinda was said to have stolen several goods but was caught before stepping out of the mall.
The singer got angry and on Monday, December 4, called out the Instablog9a via his handle. Duncan Mighty disclosed that God will punish the blogger for reporting fake news.
His post reads: “God will punish you @instablog9a you cannot tarnish my image because God has blessed me before the existence of Instagram, this is a woman whom her shops and investments are closed down because she developed mental illness since last year whom she has been taken to rehabilitation home until she ran out over a week before the incident occurred on Saturday. Her 15-year-old son is under my scholarship and in the same Chinda family, I’ve sponsored several youths in marine who are doing well in various Riggs fields today. She will get well someday because you are not God….woe unto you again, you are the only blogger that carries false information without confirming from the true source…You have elevated my name if you think you have tarnished my image. My God will fight you, a day will come people will get tired of your fake news.”

However, the post was initially shared by actress Ofom Le'cheery Francis but after the post went viral on social media, she deleted and said: "I am actually going to take down this post not because of your rants here on Facebook but because the family has gotten across to me, and what you people thought I did wrong is going to finally help her reunite with her family. It is better to reunite alive than dead. I pray that the police soft paddle, I have begged on her behalf, I pray they give her and the family one more chance. I wish you well Emmanuel Chinda."
