- Ebuka Obi-Uchendu took to his Facebook to share his personal experience with SARS officials

- The On-Air personality recounts how he narrowly escaped been killed by some officials believed to be SARS on one of his trips to Abuja

- This is following the numerous complaints laid against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of recent

Following the numerous complaints laid against SARS official, a campaign named #EndSARS has begun and a lot of people including some Nigerian celebrities have also joined the movement.

Among these celebrity is On-Air personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who took to Twitter to narrate his own ordeal with some persons believed to be SARS officials on one of his trips to Abuja.

In his tweet, he wrote: "Can never forget November 2005, driving in Abuja with @sommbonu and @IAMOfem. Stopped by a plain clothes officer with a gun, chased and actually being shot at for being “suspected armed robbers”. Ofem still has the bullet scars on his shoulder. #EndSARS"

Over the past few weeks, #EndSARS has become a trend on Twitter with people calling on the government to bring up a solution or rather an end to the issue of SARS and the brutal treatment they mete out on people. The campaign has gradually risen and even attracted the attention of internal media bodies such as BBC Africa.
